Still fresh, my Hermes tattoo (left leg) by Sean Robinson of Etched In Ink, Greater Manchester. Getting my right leg done on Monday. The idea came from Hermes, messenger of the Gods, “the patron of boundaries and of the travelers who cross them. He protects and takes care of all the travelers, miscreants, harlots, old crones and thieves that cross his path” and I’ll be on my first holiday to Egypt soon and could use all the luck I can get.

I love that he’s also known as the god of language as well as a trickster, I feel like this suited my personality perfectly since I never shut up am so argumentative and persuasive and try to push my boundaries as far as possible, often just for entertainment.. Great tattooist, really helped me figure this out and it turned out better than I imagined it to. Can’t wait to get the other side matched up even if it hurt like crazy.
